St Agnes’ Primary offers a welcoming, safe and nurturing environment for your child. The dignity and sacredness of each child are respected as staff work with parents to build in the children an awareness of the presence of God.

St Agnes was a person who displayed total commitment and loyalty to Our Lord, and She has shown us how to be a true follower of Jesus. She has shown us how she walked in love with God.

Staff foster a love of learning by creating a happy, accepting environment. Our staff have a personalised approach to the children’s learning, and both children and families are involved in goal-setting processes to enhance student learning further.

Children are encouraged to take risks and set high expectations for themselves. Teachers work collaboratively and plan rich learning tasks for the children’s learning.

As a school, we work hard to try and maintain a ‘small school feeling’ within our three-stream setting. We have a highly successful Parents and Friends Committee that focuses on fundraising annually to provide additional items to the school environment. In recent years, this has included funding for a new Infants and Primary Adventure Playground for the children to play on.

Children have an opportunity to excel in a range of different areas. An abundance of Creative Arts experiences is on offer through extracurricular programs. This culminates in an annual Creative Arts Spectacular that is certainly a night to remember!

A vast range of morning and lunchtime experiences are available, including Tuckerbox Prayer, Christian Meditation, Coding Club, Robotics, Garden Club, Music Ministry, Junior and Senior Choir and Band.

A healthy and active lifestyle is extremely important for child development. Our school oval is the hub of sporting activity each lunch, with a range of soccer, touch football and game activities underway. Sporting talents are enhanced through local, diocesan and state opportunities for representation.

Positive Behaviour Support for Learning embeds the focus on Respect, Responsible, Resilient and Resolute learners. Support within the entire community is a focus for all key stakeholders. Our Year 6 and Kinder Buddy program, Peer Support Program, Student Representative Council, Staff Professional Learning Teams, Class Parent Network and P&F Committee all help to make St Agnes’ Primary a wonderful place to be.

We welcome you to our lovely community and look forward to sharing the next seven years together for your child’s educational journey.
